Tavanipupu Island Resort, Solomon Islands
Considered as “last paradise on Earth” islands, consist of about 1,000 small patches of land. They are located in the South Pacific, of which Tavanipupu is one of the smallest. The former coconut plantation was purchased in the 70’s by British designer and reconceived. The island is a rare example of the balance between luxury and isolation from the world.
To get to the island, you must arrive to Honiara, from where you continue by boat to reach Tavanipupi (it takes about 15 minutes). During the journey you pass by many other isles – each with a charming, idyllic landscape. A pleasant start of the holiday foreshadows more attractions such as local fresh vegetables and seafood or tasty cocktails to relish while sunbathing. Can you imagine that now?
